Swim Team

Welcome to the Green Woods Gators Swim Team information site. Please refer to the Swim Team Schedule & Swim Team Practices for important dates and times. There are around 140 swimmers (about 90 families) that swim for the summer team.

Scott Elliott is the head coach for the Green Wood Swim Team. He has been the head coach for 13 years and is the head coach for the Golden Ram Aquatics USS team during the winter swim season. We are part of the Southern Chester County Swim League which consists of 5 local swim teams.

The swim team is open to any swimmer from 5 to 18 that can pass the swim test given at the beginning of the season. Practices are in the afternoon while school is in session and then every morning (Monday through Friday) through the season. There are 4 meets (Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings), with the season ending with two levels of championships in July.

For anyone interested in joining the team, contact the Swim Team Secretary Christina Gorman at cmsgorman@comcast.net for a Registrataion Form and be sure to come to our information meeting held in May. The swim team is a great way to meet other swimmers, improve your swim skills, and have lots of fun too.
